About the Battery for the Fenix UC40 UE: 
- Fenix ARB-L1T 3400mAh rechargeable battery Tailored/proprietary is included with the Flashlight - this battery can be charged in the UC40UE and does not need any external charger.
- Also works with 2x non-rechargeable CR123A batteries.  NOT INCLUDED
- Also works with 1x 18650 rechargeable battery.  Accepts Fenix ARB-L2M(2300mah), ARB-L2(2600mah), or ARB-L2S(3400mah) 18650 batteries which can be purchased seperately.  These batteries must be recharged OUTSIDE the UC40UE by using an 18650 battery charger such as the ARE-C1 or ARE-C2.
- Also works with Fenix ARB-L1S Spare Battery Pack. This battery can be recharged within the UC40UE using the USB cable.
