Lightorati's take on the SRT5: The Nitecore SRT5 is a slightly less feature variant of the most succcessful SRT7 which includes the police flashlight light and a beam throw of 308 mts (vs the SRT5 with a throw of 155mts). That said, SRT5 is significantly smaller than the SRT7 because of the dfference in head size. The throw on this light is good enough for most uses including for security purposes. The Nitecore SRT5 defenitely fallls in the flooder category of the single 18650 type lights.
