Solarforce M9 XM-L2 (U2) LED flashlight (Upgraded version) offers maximum 1020 Lumens output (previously 850 Lumens).  It is truly an excellent choice for tactical use and for weapon/gun mount lights truly because of its throw and sturdiness.

Lightorati's take on Solarforce M9: 
This is an amazingly bright thrower and at its price range, its worth every penny if you are looking for an economical thrower and it will out do most of the high performance medium format thrower category flashlights. It has a throw of 550mts. It can take 1x18650 without the extension but it is at its best only with the extension in 2x18650 configuration. 

Specifications:
-  Uses CREE XM-L2 (U2 grade in brightness) high-power output LED.
- The body is made of T6063 T6 aircraft grade aluminum alloy in Mil-spec type III hard-anodized (matt black) finish, which significantly strengthens the anti-wearing and anti-corrosion features of the unit.
- The anti-rolling design and anti-slippery surface of the body provides users with comfortable handgrip.
- The discs at the head dissipate heat efficiently.
- The stainless steel bezel makes the flashlight head even more impact-resistant.
- Highly focusing reflector producing a illumination distance of over 550m.
- Strengthened ultra-clear glass lens with two-surface coating for ultra high transparency and light transmittance.
